What it costs

How much does a bathroom remodel cost in NJ?

A standard-size full bathroom remodel with us starts at $15,000. That covers demo, tile prep and install, paint, fixture install and a basic trim package. Tile, plumbing and electrical are not included, and we do not install shower glass. We give a written scope and price after a free walkthrough.

Starting prices for the work we do most often. You buy the tile, so none of these include it, and shower glass is not offered. Plumbing and electrical are done by our trusted subs and quoted separately.

  • Full bathroom remodel

    from $15,000

    Standard-size bathroom: demo, tile prep labor and materials, tile install, paint, fixture install (towel bar, toilet paper holder and the like) and a basic trim package.

    Not included: The tile, plumbing and electrical (done by our trusted subs, quoted separately), and shower glass.

    What moves it: Room size, layout changes, and how much the demo turns up.

  • Tub-to-shower conversion

    from $6,000

    The whole shower area done, not just pulling the tub: tub out, new pan, waterproofing, and the walls and floor tiled.

    Not included: The tile, shower glass (we don't install it), and plumbing, which is quoted separately.

    What moves it: Shower size, tile pattern, whether the drain has to move, and what the demo turns up.

  • Bathroom tile, prep and install

    from $5,000

    A shower or tub area plus the floor: prep materials and tile install.

    Not included: The tile, demo, plumbing, electrical, drywall and paint.

    What moves it: Size of the areas and the tile pattern.

  • Half bath / powder room tile

    from $2,000

    Tile prep and install for a small bathroom. Demo of the old tile is usually included.

    Not included: The tile.

    What moves it: Room size and the tile pattern.

  • Tile floors

    from $14 / sq ft

    Prep and install on larger areas.

    Not included: The tile.

    What moves it: Small rooms, hard-to-reach areas and custom patterns take longer and cost more. Small rooms are often $20–$25 per sq ft.

  • Tile repair

    from $800 minimum

    Repair of damaged or loose tile.

    Not included: The replacement tile.

    What moves it: What is behind the tile. We look at it in person before quoting.

Every price is a starting price, and none of them include the tile itself. Demo, niches, shelves and curbless showers are quoted per job. Minimum charge on any job is $800. What you actually pay depends on the room, so we look at it, then put a number in writing before anything is scheduled.
